Clearwell Wins Audients Choice Award at Under the Radar
CEO Demonstrates Unparalleled Innovation for Business Intelligence
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – November 18, 2005 – Clearwell, the leader in email intelligence, today announced it was voted the "Most Innovative New Company" by audience members at IBDNetwork's Under the Radar conference in Mountain View, Calif. Presenting alongside analytics and business intelligence start-ups, Clearwell's president and CEO, Aaref Hilaly reinforced the company's unrivaled differentiators, strong market opportunity and early customer successes.
Under the Radar took place on November 16, showcasing more than 25 promising companies in eight emerging sectors within the enterprise technology space including: extrusion prevention, identity management, next-generation business intelligence, information lifecycle management, source-code analysis, second-generation RFID, data-center virtualization, and multi-platform productivity tools. Judges from JP Morgan Partners, Morgenthaler Ventures and Palomar Ventures challenged Clearwell with hard-hitting questions, further highlighting the company's growth opportunities.
Clearwell created the first best of breed Email Intelligence solution that extracts and delivers actionable intelligence from corporate email systems for compliance, e-discovery and customer management. The company’s Email Intelligence Platform organizes and analyzes the information captured in email, lowering discovery costs, reducing fines, growing revenue and improving customer satisfaction. Prior to the company’s public launch in January 2006, early customer estimates predict that Clearwell will deliver significant cost savings, including an average of $8 million in projected ROI, 90 percent cost reductions and 35 percent increased productivity.
Clearwell was selected to present by the IBDNetwork editorial team and Under the Radar advisory board, demonstrating innovation above and beyond more than 300 companies reviewed for the event.
“Presenting at Under the Radar was a valuable opportunity for Clearwell to identify market opportunity and establish the email intelligence category early on,” Hilaly said. “Recognition from an audience of investors, press and potential partners as 'Most Innovative' reaffirms that our message and delivery appropriately define Clearwell’s position in the business intelligence space. We will continue to utilize early customer feedback and analyst predictions as we refine our product and prepare for launch in January.”
